I hope everyone had a great holiday (if you were able to have one!) and now fully refreshed and ready to go for the remainder of 2017.

We have a jammed pack six months in front of us – events and clinics galore!

Members would have received my last two emails with regards to:
Cobbitty Gymkhana on Sunday 30 July (entries close Monday 25 July – program attached, click to RSVP now Click here to reply)
Albert Small Dressage & Show Jumping Day on Sunday 13 August (please email berrimadistrictpc@gmail.com if you need me to email you the program and entry form again)

The first of our exciting clinics is the Greg Powell Horsemanship Clinic on Sunday 6 August. All members and their ponies are welcome to take part free of charge! I will send out a separate email so you can RSVP – it will be essential to RSVP so that we have correct numbers for Greg to plan his day. Phil and Elysia Horan have volunteered to organise the canteen – all helpers will be appreciated.

More clinics…

26-27 August – Imtiaz (Imti) Anees – NEGS Equestrian Head Coach & Olympian

12 November – Tulip Time Gymkhana, BDPC

Wow…get those dates in your diary and before long it will be Christmas!

The State PC Combined Championships (Dressage, Show Riding, Show Jumping and Jumping Equitation) were held at Tamworth at the beginning of July. Claudia Smith (9) and her pony Little Paddocks Mikado were our sole representatives in the Zone 10 team. Claudia competed in the Show Riding and Dressage events collecting lots of ribbons – the big one being the Under 11 Dressage Champion!!!! What an achievement – well done and congratulations Claudia and Mikado!!!

Another exciting development at the Club is the installation of two new state of the art wash bays – check them out at the next rally day! This was made possible by one extremely generous BDPC family (who would like to remain anonymous) – a VERY BIG THANK YOU FROM US ALL!!! The ponies (and their riders) are going to be very happy indeed – no more standing round in the wet muddy grass (and no more wet muddy riding boots!!!).

We look forward to seeing you on as many first and third Sundays of the month that you can get to for the remainder of the year!

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Don’t forget to get your entries in for the Cobbitty Gymkhana by next Monday.
